Dunni Alexandra Lawal popularly known as Dunnie is an Afro-fusion singer, songwriter and record producer. She has an impressive background when it comes to music. In 2014, she was a finalist of popular music show ‘StarTheWinnerIs’. Two years later, she won Best Performing Artist at the ‘Abuja Music Fiesta’.
As an influential woman in music, she was once listed under Nigerian Producers to watch out for in 2021 by YNaija and Kick-Ass Women in Nigeria’s Music Industry You Need To Know About by Global Citizen. She went on to surpass expectations having written, produced & given background vocals to both international and local award-winning musicians like Burna Boy, Yemi Alade, Wande Coal, Kidi, Oxlade, Becca, Busiswa, Sean Tizzle and more.
Interestingly, she has created tracks for international brands; Ciroc, Nestle, Oppo and Kotex. Famously known for her single ‘Overdose’ which featured Oxlade & more recently ‘Already Won’ which featured Chike , her past collaborations have yielded much success such that she got nominated by All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) in 2021 for her outstanding feature in ‘Love Song’ by Busiswa.
