Adore: Christmas Songs of Worship is the second Christmas album from Chris Tomlin. sixstepsrecords alongside Sparrow Records released the album on October 23, 2015. He worked with Ed Cash, in the production of this album which was recorded at Ocean Way Nashville with a live singing audience.
Worship music’s main man delivers his second Christmas release, a live project chock-full of guest stars like Kristyn Getty, who adds her lovely Irish lilt to a sing-along version of “Silent Night,” and All Sons & Daughters, who give Tomlin’s take on “What Child Is This?” an acoustic folk flavor. While traditional carol “Midnight Clear (Love Song)” becomes a grand, glorious, pop-rock anthem here, the album’s standout is arguably the hauntingly beautiful “Noel,” featuring Lauren Daigle’s powerful, soaring voice.
