Barbie: The Album is the soundtrack for Greta Gerwig’s newly released movie titled “Barbie” which is already showing on all theatres in world wide.
The soundtrack, executively produced by Mark Ronson, was first announced in April 2023, where it was reported by The Daily Mail that Dua Lipa would record the main theme song for the movie, with rumors suggesting she recorded several more songs.
On May 22, 2023, Dua Lipa announced that the first song of the soundtrack, “Dance The Night,” was released on May 26, 2023. Two more artists released their songs prior to the movie, in June, with KAROL G releasing “WATATI,” and PinkPantheress releasing “Angel.” You should also know that Barbie album features artists like Nicki Minaj, Dua Lipa, Ice Spice, KAROL G and many more.
